Musical Ministry Philosophy

Fernanda Lara and Giordani Vidal

Our Ministry has the objective to reveal Jesus Christ, His grace, forgiveness, love and salvation through music to every person lacking of God, willing to accept him independently of denominations.

Biography:

1997. This was the year when began the partnership of the musical ministry of Fernanda Lara and Giordani Vidal. Fernanda Lara, who since a small child has developed her musical knowledge, have played on several choirs in Brazil, having sang on several counties, like USA, Mexico (Mexican television), Uruguay, Argentina and several Brazilian states. Giordani Vidal, since he was three years old he studies and involves with classic and sacred music, possessing several abilities with musical instruments, specially the piano.

From their marriage has risen the desire to present to every corner of the world the importance of Christ in the lives of the human beings, and to show that, even in this world of tribulation, there is a Savior, our beloved Christ Jesus.

With over 1.000 participations and presentations on musical events, the results of the ministry started to show up, as several testimonials of people that have accepted Christ through the music of Fernanda e Vidal started to arrive through letters, e-mails and phone.

Fernanda says: "We’re conscious that the merits are of Christ alone, as we are only instruments on His hands, we put ourselves completely on the Lord’s hands, as the greatest blessing of the musical ministry is to hear and see lives being changed by the Holy Ghost".

After deep musical researches, Fernanda and Vidal have defined as priority on their musical productions, and this is the differential on the musical ministry, to rescue the biblical instruments sounds from the primitive Christian epoch, resulting in a fusion between the classical biblical and contemporaneous. This mixture is pointed as an innovation in the Christian music nowadays, according to information of several members and directors of the LARA´S academy, responsible for the Grammy award.

Giordani says: "Within our musical knowledge, the music is based upon the praise context the ancient Christians used to offer to God, through their chant and instruments. This way, we are not worried on enframing ourselves on this or that style, because it was the Lord Jesus who planted it in our hearts and we have the support of the sacred scriptures".

After 7 years, with three CDs produced, an instrumental by Giordani Vidal and two solos from Fernanda Lara, 2004 was an outstanding year, as it presented the nomination and the victory of the Troféu Talento 2004 award on the Best Independent CD and Best Musical Arrangement categories. The recognition brought a higher exposing on the national Christian music scenario, taking the names of Fernanda Lara and Giordani Vidal to the Latin Grammy Academy, presenting the opportunity and the invite from the academy for them to become voting member.

After a rigorous protocol of selection and indication for voting to the Latin Grammy award, supported by the members of the Academy (LARA’S), Fernanda Lara e Giordani Vidal were nominated to the Latin Grammy 2004 on the category of Best Christian Album in Portuguese.

On December 30^th 2004, the musical consolidation came through the contract with a Brazilian gospel music giant, the Line Records producer, which is among the biggest on the Brazilian market.

Philanthropic activities of the Fernanda Lara and Giordani Vidal musical ministry

- Support/Coordination of the Christmas mobilization: A campaign for gathering food to the needy and evangelism during Christmas time, going on yearly, with the support of several companies and the Rio Grande do Sul state government. This campaign occurs on the principal Brazilian states, with the collection of thousands of tons of food, with the covering of the mains communication vehicles of the Brazilian television.

- Evangelism and enlivenment: Taking part on big evangelism and spiritual enlivenment campaigns, that happens on several Brazilian states.

- Church supporting instrumental musical project: Donation of CD copies as a support for instrumental music at moments of prayer and meditation for the churches.
